Fraser has over 30 years experience in the music industry and has provided entertainment in some of the best venues in Scotland, England and throughout the World. Fraser has also 30 years experience playing snare drum both in the drum corps and as leading drummer of Coalburn Pipe Band, has also played in ceilidh and function bands as well as theatre groups for many years.

The equipment used by Fraser is all modern and updated every couple of years. It is all PAT tested regularly. The lights are a combination of LEDs and lasers. Fraser works with laptop computers and always carries a spare laptop that in the unlikely event of a failure.
He also carries spares of every cable and lead again ensuring that your special night continues even if a component fails.
Fraser offers a selection of packages based on your requirements:
- a disco only with myself there on the night
- a silent disco for up to 100 guests
- a ceilidh/disco all done from laptops with Fraser giving instruction via a radio mic out on the dance floor
- a live ceilidh band with an integrated caller followed by a disco.
If using the live band option one of the accordion players will normally be the caller and Fraser will play drums as well as running your disco afterwards.
Prices are dependent on what sort of package you choose and the pricing of the live band/disco option and is dependent on the amount of musicians required and distance travelled. Please contact Fraser for a no obligation quote and to discuss options.
Once booked for an event Fraser will not accept any other work for that date and operates on a first come first served basis. Fraser does not subcontract work out to any other DJ or musician.
In order to secure a booking a small deposit will be required. Fraser will issue a contract for both parties to sign.
Fraser will also meet with you, assuming it is appropriate geographically, prior to the event to discuss in detail, a play-list (if required) as well as establishing your requirements, and generally giving advice.
Fraser can also select with you appropriate background music to be played during any planned breaks as well as giving advice prior to your event, and he will also source that special tune for you should he not have it in his extensive library.
On the day of the event Fraser will arrive in plenty of time to allow set up before the agreed start time. After setup Fraser will conduct your event smartly dressed in either a suit or a full blown tartan 3 piece suit. Full highland dress including the kilt can also be worn if requested.
On the night Fraser will adjust his volume to ensure the dancers can hear the music, but also that, those who choose not to dance can have a conversation in the same venue. At any point during the event you can always ask for an adjustment to the volume
